![]() To reconcile this and other debates within the field of navigation, we return to the concept of the parallel map theory, derived from data on hippocampal function in laboratory rodents. But the communities of researchers that study the cognitive map in non-humans are strangely divided, with debate over its existence found among behaviorists but not neuroscientists. Lastly, our group need to find the place for hamster to live permanently so the hamster will not to get used to new thing multiple times.Space is continuous. Secondly, our group need to select the hamster that are not too aggressive. Firstly, our group need to plan more carefully in building the maze so we don't need to wasting the time. Therefore, our group need to improve many thing in this because it will make our experiment better. Moreover, since I am living in the dorm and we cannot leave the hamster at school, it is making our hamsters having a rough time to get used to each environment. Thus, this make our group need to constructing a new maze which this take a lot of time to do it. Also, during the maze construction, we are facing with a huge problem because our maze is too small and lack of strength. This take a lot of time to make them get used to us and do not afraid with our bare hand. On the other hand, our group also confront with the problem because at first when we are approaching with the hamsters it bite our hand which this represent the sign of fear meaning that we need to wearing the glove all the time to touching and playing with them. Meaning that our group also divided the time that is given wisely which this make our group doesn't need to be rush by the time that it is nearly end of this project. ![]() Thus, this make our group having a plenty of time to teaching and conditioning our hamster, also building the maze, filming, editing, and vocalize the video. From this procedure, it is making our proposal finish 1 day earlier. So our group divide people equally for each of the part and if anyone is finished their part first they need to help the other. Moreover, our group also divided and separate the work really good as in this project we need to make a long research proposal in order to make our thought become true which this mean that it requires a lot of effort and the work. Also, our group experiment is really creative and critical process of thinking because throughout the researching part we are not see any of the kind of project that similar to us also. In which, our experiment is done successfully which the training hamster does the thing that they should done-can escape from the maze within a short amount of times and also without any error occurs. Thus, this will make them feel much more comfortable with us.ĭuring this project, we are successfully conditioning the hamsters and conducting the experiment. However, after they get used to the new places, our group is trying to conditioning them by using the counter conditioning process: let feeding them the food on our hands, let them smell our hand and let them walk through our hand. At first, when we get the hamsters we are not going to play with them because it might scared them and the time is also required for them to get used to the new place. Within this project, the hamsters are chosen for our experiment because of its size and how they are easy to get used to human by using the counter conditioning. ![]() Throughout this project, its give me a lot of benefits and also the skill which I can use throughout my life. In this quarter, our elective is having chances to interact with animals: hamster guinea pig or mice.
